About Me

With a strong foundation in Digital Production Design and Development at Barnsley College, I am eager to take the next step in my career by pursuing the Digital and Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship with Arm. My passion for technology stems from my curiosity about software development, programming languages, and the ever-evolving digital landscape. This program represents an exciting opportunity to learn, earn, and innovate while gaining hands-on experience in a globally respected technology company.

During my studies, I developed key technical skills in data analysis, software development, and system management. My coursework provided a solid understanding of programming fundamentals, operating systems, and business technology applications. I have refined my problem-solving abilities through projects requiring logical thinking, collaboration, and creativity. Additionally, my experience in presenting technical concepts has strengthened my communication skills, enabling me to convey complex ideas effectively.

As part of my T Level course, I completed a 315-hour industry placement at ZZC Group, a technology solutions company specializing in software development and IT support. My role involved:

• Software Development – Coding web applications using HTML, PHP, jQuery, SCSS, and SQL.
• Technical Problem-Solving – Translating verbal and illustrated briefs into functional code.
• Team Collaboration – Working alongside developers to create innovative solutions.
• UI/UX Design – Designing user-friendly interfaces and enhancing system functionality.

This experience deepened my understanding of real-world software development, allowing me to contribute to live projects while honing my debugging, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills. It also reinforced my passion for problem-solving and continuous learning within the tech sector.

Beyond academics, I am a fitness enthusiast, dedicating time to strength training and nutrition. My passion for health and fitness complements my technical mindset by instilling discipline, consistency, and a goal-oriented approach. Additionally, I enjoy exploring new technologies and coding challenges, continuously enhancing my technical expertise.

I am particularly excited about the opportunity to work within Arm's cutting-edge technology teams, whether in Machine Learning, Data Science, or Software Development. I am eager to apply my knowledge, learn from industry-leading professionals, and contribute to the innovative solutions shaping the future of technology.

After completing this apprenticeship, my goal is to establish a long-term career at Arm, leveraging the skills and experience gained to drive technological advancements and create meaningful solutions.
